NUJ DBS WARRI CHAPEL CONGRATULATES AZUKA CHIEMEKE ON RE-ELECTION AS SWAN SOUTH-SOUTH VP

Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS, Warri Chapel, have congratulated Comrade Azuka Chiemeke on his re-election as Vice President, South-South Zone, of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Chapel, Comrade John Glover, and the Secretary, Comrade Ogheneruona Oyibo, the union described Comrade Chiemeke's re-election as well deserved.

The statement described Comrade Chiemeke, popularly known as Sports Bazuka, as a seasoned sports reporter and administrator par excellence, whose contributions to sports journalism and development have earned him the confidence of his colleagues.

The NUJ DBS Warri Chapel urged Comrade Chiemeke to work closely with the national leadership of SWAN to consolidate the achievements recorded during his first tenure.

The Chapel also called on members of SWAN and other stakeholders to give him the necessary support and cooperation to enable him succeed in his new tenure.
