‎Born on February 26 in Zaria, Kaduna State, to the illustrious family of Chief Henry Nkeolisakwu Ajudua and Chief Mrs. Regina Obiageli Ajudua, young Henry entered the world during a period when his parents were building their lives far from home. His father was then employed by the defunct United Africa Company (UAC), having been transferred to Northern Nigeria in the course of his duties.

‎The circumstances surrounding his birth inspired the powerful name "Chukwumaonyenmenjo" — meaning "Only God Knows a Sinner." The name reflected the challenges and obstacles his parents faced in their early years and their unwavering faith in divine providence. That faith would later become one of the defining pillars of his own life.

‎His roots are firmly planted in Umukwa, Umuodafe Quarters of Igbuzo, while his maternal heritage traces back to the historic kingdom of Ogwashi-Uku. As the firstborn of eight children, he occupies the revered position of Diokpa of the Ajudua family, a role that carries immense responsibility and honour within the traditional structure of Igbuzo society.

‎From an early age, Henry displayed exceptional intelligence and determination. His educational journey began at St. Theresa's Primary School, Zaria, before he proceeded to the prestigious Edo College, Benin City. The outbreak of the Nigerian Civil War disrupted his studies and forced a return to his ancestral home in Igbuzo. He briefly attended St. Augustine's Grammar School before transferring to the newly established St. Anthony's College, Ubulu-Uku, where he completed his secondary education and distinguished himself among his peers.

‎Determined to pursue academic excellence, he gained admission into the Federal School of Science, Onikan, Lagos, where he obtained his Advanced Level qualifications, later securing admission into Ahmadu Bello University.

‎Driven to pursue higher education abroad, and with the support of the late Dr. Anaza of Umuozoma, Henry enrolled at Alabama A&M University before continuing his academic advancement at Long Island University, New York. There, he earned his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in Pharmacy. Years later, he further expanded his expertise by obtaining a Doctorate in Public Health, reflecting a lifelong commitment to improving healthcare systems.

‎In 1986, he married the love of his life, Obi Okpoho Dr. Onyebuchi Henry-Ajudua (née Njideaka) from Idumuezeje, Umuekea Quarters, Igbuzo, an accomplished healthcare professional and Doctor of Nursing. Their marriage has flourished into a remarkable partnership built on mutual respect, shared values, faith, and service to humanity.
