Delta APC Campaign Council: Stakeholders Rally Support For 2027 Elections, Pledge Victory For Party Candidates

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State have reaffirmed their commitment to the party's electoral success in the 2027 general elections, pledging to work collectively to ensure victory for all its candidates at the polls.
The stakeholders gave the assurance on Thursday in Asaba during the inauguration of the Delta State APC Campaign Council, where they expressed confidence in the party's leadership, campaign structure and preparedness for the forthcoming elections.
Chairman of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service, Hon. Solomon Ighrakpata, congratulated members of the newly inaugurated Campaign Council and pledged his readiness to collaborate with them towards achieving a resounding victory for the party.
Ighrakpata said the achievements of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government and the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in Delta State were visible, expressing confidence that their performance would strengthen the APC's appeal to voters.
He urged party members to sustain their support for both administrations and intensify grassroots mobilisation to ensure that the party's achievements were effectively communicated to the electorate.
Similarly, the Delta State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Solomon Funkekeme, declared that the APC was adequately prepared for the forthcoming elections, expressing confidence in the competence and political experience of members of the Campaign Council.
Funkekeme described the council members as tested and experienced politicians whose wealth of knowledge would be instrumental in coordinating campaign activities and strengthening the party's electoral prospects.
According to him, the calibre of individuals appointed to the council demonstrated the party's readiness to deploy its organisational strength and political experience towards securing victory in 2027.
He also described the political alignment between the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State as a significant development in the state's political landscape.
In his remarks, the Director-General of the Warri, Uvwie and Environs Development Agency, Chief Godwin Ejiyeren, charged members of the Campaign Council and other party faithful to approach the task ahead with renewed determination, warning against complacency.
Ejiyeren urged party members to return to their respective communities, engage the electorate and intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.
“We should come out like we have never done before. Nobody should take anything for granted or assume that it is time to relax. The result of hard work is more work,” he said.
He called on APC members to communicate the achievements and future plans of the Tinubu and Oborevwori administrations to the people, while also listening to their concerns and expectations.
“As APC members, we should go back to the drawing board, begin to canvass support, talk to our people and feel their pulse. Let them know what the President is doing and what he intends to do next, as well as what the governor has achieved and his plans for the future,” Ejiyeren stated.
Also speaking, a former member of the Post Primary Education Board, Chief Alex Imarah, expressed confidence in the Tinubu administration, highlighting what he described as progress in addressing security challenges, efforts towards economic recovery and relative stability in the foreign exchange market.
Imarah commended the President and state governors for their commitment to governance, noting that the impact of ongoing economic reforms was beginning to emerge.
He expressed optimism that the Federal Government's policies would further reposition the Nigerian economy and improve the welfare of citizens, while urging Nigerians to acknowledge the administration's efforts.
On security, he noted that the government's interventions deserved recognition, expressing hope that sustained efforts would produce further improvements across the country.
In his contribution, grassroots politician and APC stakeholder, Chief John Oguma, reaffirmed his support for the party and expressed confidence in its prospects ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Oguma assured the party leadership of the commitment of grassroots stakeholders to mobilising support for its candidates, stressing the importance of unity, dedication and effective engagement with voters.
The stakeholders called on party members across Delta State to remain united, intensify mobilisation at the grassroots and work in synergy with the Campaign Council to translate the party's political strength into electoral success in 2027.
