Oborevwori Focused on Securing Better Future for Delta Youths — Lucky Abuah

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Youth Mobilisation, Chief Lucky Abuah, has expressed confidence that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori remains the most suitable candidate to lead the state beyond 2027, citing his administration's commitment to youth empowerment and inclusive development.
Chief Abuah made the assertion on Tuesday while interacting with youths from Oshimili South Local Government Area in Asaba, where he highlighted the achievements of the Oborevwori administration and its efforts to improve the welfare of young people across the state.
According to him, Governor Oborevwori has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to youth development through various empowerment programmes, skills acquisition initiatives and employment opportunities aimed at reducing unemployment and improving livelihoods.
He noted that the governor's MORE Agenda has continued to create opportunities for young people, stressing that the administration is determined to ensure that Delta youths become productive contributors to the state's growth and development.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is a focused leader who believes in the capacity of young people. His administration is working tirelessly to create opportunities that will take our youths away from the streets and position them for a brighter future, Abuah said.
The governor's aide urged youths in the state to remain law-abiding, embrace available empowerment programmes and support policies that promote sustainable development.
He further commended Governor Oborevwori for prioritising infrastructure, education, healthcare and economic development, adding that these initiatives are laying a solid foundation for future generations.
Abuah also encouraged young people to participate actively in governance and community development, assuring them that the state government would continue to implement policies and programmes designed to enhance their welfare and economic prospects.
The engagement attracted youths from various communities in Oshimili South, who commended the governor's efforts and pledged their continued support for initiatives aimed at improving the lives of young people in Delta State.
