The governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) for the 2027 Delta State gubernatorial election, Engr. Isaac Eshor, has officially relocated to Asaba, the Delta State capital, as part of efforts to intensify his campaign ahead of the forthcoming election.

Speaking with journalists shortly after his arrival, Eshor disclosed that the decision to relocate permanently to Delta State was informed by his commitment to engage directly with the people and build a stronger grassroots movement across the state.

According to him, although his business and professional engagements have taken him across several cities, including Warri, Port Harcourt and Calabar, he has consistently maintained close ties with Delta State and has been making regular visits over the past three years.

The AAC standard-bearer said his relocation would enable him to interact more closely with communities, stakeholders, youths, women and other critical groups as he prepares to offer what he described as a credible alternative leadership for the state.

Eshor expressed confidence in his chances at the 2027 polls, declaring that he is fully prepared to contest and emerge victorious in the governorship election.

I have decided to relocate to Asaba because Delta State deserves focused and dedicated leadership. I want to be closer to the people, understand their challenges firsthand and work with them to chart a new course for our state," he said.

He maintained that his vision for Delta State is anchored on economic development, youth empowerment, infrastructural renewal and transparent governance, adding that the state possesses enormous potential that can be harnessed for the benefit of all citizens.

Eshor further called on Deltans to embrace a new political direction, assuring them that the AAC remains committed to delivering purposeful leadership and sustainable development across the state.

Political observers believe the relocation of the AAC candidate to Asaba signals the beginning of a more vigorous grassroots campaign as the race for the 2027 Delta governorship election gradually gathers momentum.
