AAC Governorship Candidate Eshor Constitutes 40-Man Campaign Council Ahead of 2027 Poll

The governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Delta State, Engr. Isaac Eshor, has inaugurated a 40-man Campaign Council to spearhead the party's activities ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Engr. Eshor announced the formation of the Campaign Council during a well-attended political gathering where he was officially endorsed by members of the State Executive Committee of the Labour Party, who adopted him as their sole governorship candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial race.
Speaking during the event, the AAC flag bearer described the inauguration of the Campaign Council as a strategic step towards building a formidable political structure capable of delivering victory for the party in the January 2027 election. The Governorship candidate Engr Isaac Eshor is the chairman of the council, Deputy Governorship Candidate, Oromoni Lucky is the vice Chairman of the Campaign Council, AAC state Chairman, Maxwell Ogor is the General Coordinator of the Campaign Council
He named Hon. Vincent Okwuokei as the Campaign Director and charged him with the responsibility of coordinating the activities of the council across the state.
To ensure effective grassroots mobilisation across the three senatorial districts, Engr. Eshor also appointed Comrade Emmanuel Okorodudu as Senatorial Coordinator for Delta Central, Comrade Ngozi Onwordi as Senatorial Coordinator for Delta North, and Comrade Sylvanus Gbenewe as Senatorial Coordinator for Delta South.
The AAC governorship candidate urged members of the Campaign Council to remain committed, focused and dedicated to the task ahead, stressing that the success of the party would depend largely on their collective efforts and determination.
According to him, the campaign team must work tirelessly to engage the electorate, promote the party's programmes and vision, and build a strong support base across the state.
Engr. Eshor further encouraged leaders of the various directorates within the Campaign Council to reach out to party members and supporters who may not have been formally included in the list of appointments, noting that every committed stakeholder has a role to play in the quest to reposition Delta State.
He emphasized the importance of unity, inclusiveness and teamwork, assuring supporters that his administration would focus on people-oriented policies, economic development, youth empowerment and infrastructural renewal if elected governor.
The inauguration of the Campaign Council is expected to signal the commencement of intensified political activities by the AAC as preparations gather momentum for the 2027 governorship election in Delta State.
