2027: Omonemu Predicts APC 5/5 Victory, Charges Members on Grassroots Mobilisation

Former Delta State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr. Edewor Omonemu, has expressed confidence in the prospects of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections, urging party leaders and supporters in Olomu Ward 2 to intensify grassroots mobilisation for the party and its candidates.

Omonemu, a lawyer and academic, gave the charge recently in his hometown during the visit of the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom to Ovwodokpokpo Olomu Community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Addressing a large gathering of youths, party supporters and stakeholders, he urged APC members to take the party’s message directly to the electorate through sustained door-to-door campaigns and grassroots engagement.

He stressed the need for party structures at the ward and polling-unit levels to remain active, functional and fully engaged ahead of the elections.

Omonemu called for stronger collaboration among party leaders, stakeholders and members, saying coordinated mobilisation and effective communication would be critical to achieving the party’s objectives.

He also urged leaders, political appointees, elected representatives and party executives to take ownership of the mobilisation process by actively engaging their followers and constituents.

According to him, sustained grassroots mobilisation, unity and commitment among party members would be instrumental to securing what he described as an APC 5/5 victory in Ughelli South State Constituency II.

He therefore charged all stakeholders to commence immediate and sustained mobilisation across the wards and polling units, saying every member of the party had a role to play in delivering a strong electoral performance for the APC and its candidates in the 2027 general elections.
